Meet Dogwood Framing
Passionate about art, precision, and customer care—learn what’s behind Dogwood Framing.
Our Story
Cheryl Johnson began her framing career at her art gallery, Tear of the Moon Gallery, in Wimberley, Texas, in 1990 with a clear mission: to make high-quality, custom framing both accessible and convenient. Over the years, she has owned and operated galleries and frame shops in Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Louisiana. Now settled back on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she grew up, Cheryl has opened Dogwood Framing in Biloxi, Mississippi, returning to the creative work she loves most—collaborating with customers to bring their visions to life.
Cheryl recently completed the requirements to earn the CPF (Certified Picture Framer) designation from the Professional Picture Framers Association. Certification signifies expertise in design, preservation, and industry standards. Certified framers are also committed to ongoing education and stay current with best practices in the field.
With decades of experience in art and design, the team at Dogwood Framing offers expert craftsmanship, artistic insight, and personalized service. They’re passionate about helping you display your artwork beautifully, securely, and with lasting impact.
Please feel free to stop in and say hello if you’re in the neighborhood, or if you have a special framing challenge you’d like to discuss!
